Regupol® Comfort 7 acoustic underlay and soundproofing is used for insulating impact sound. This product is suitable for both new building construction and renovation projects. Regupol is used to decouple concrete floors and concrete slabs. Due to its low thickness of 7 mm, this vibration-isolating subfloor is ideal for buildings with a low construction or ceiling height. By applying Regupol Comfort 7, an improvement of up to ΔLw 20 dB can be achieved. This Regupol variant can be loaded up to 500 kg/m² (incl. screed).

What it is and does:
Regupol Comfort 7 consists of PUR-bonded elastomer particles and is used as a decoupling subfloor under, among other things, poured concrete floors and (Fermacell) gypsum fibre board. Regupol reduces the spread of impact noises from, for example, heels, chairs and in shops where shopping carts are used.
Applications
Regupol can be widely used for insulating impact sound. Especially in rooms with low ceilings, in combination with a screed, Regupol Comfort is an excellent choice. Regupol can also be used in several layers. Some areas of application are:
- Apartments and houses
Where certain requirements are set for subfloors to avoid contact noise. In combination with a double gypsum fibre board or a cast floor.
- Supermarkets
Floor insulation for isolating impact noises from shopping carts. One layer in combination with a (reinforced) concrete screed.
- Soundstudio
For reducing impact noise from musical instruments e.g. In this situation preferably applied with 2 or 3 layers in combination with a double or triple layer of gypsum fibre board.
Properties
Regupol has, just like Regufoam, excellent quality and product properties and has CE and TÜV certification. Regupol Comfort has been tested according to DIN and ISO measurement methods and standards. Product Features:

- Insulation value: Lw > 28 dB (EN ISO 140-7 / ISO 717-2, in combination with 50 mm screed).
- Fire class: Class E according to DIN EN 13501-1 Standard.
- Thermal Resistance: 0.08 (m 2 K)/W.
- Suitable for floor heating, heat conductivity 0.06 W/(mK).
- Long life and elasticity.
- max. tax: 500 kg/m².
- Moisture resistant (do not soak).
Processing tips
Regupol Comfort acoustic underlay is easy to cut to size with a sharp knife. In wet areas, or before applying the screed, first apply a construction foil and tape it off to make it waterproof. When making a floating floor, pay attention to whether the distance between the bottom of the door(s) and the finishing floor is large enough. Regupol can also be cut into strips and mounted against walls so the screed is vibration-free from the walls.
