Isolating sound with ground plates In order to insulate light wooden floors, plaster and system walls, but also, say, the deck of a vessel, it is necessary to at least double the mass of the surface. A duplication generally results in a reduction of +/- 10 dB(a). Isomat products are perfectly suitable for insulating airborne noise.
Both Isomat variants TS and KE have a very high density (density) and are practical in use, due to the small thickness of the material. Especially when insulating wooden floors, it is not desired to make the floor higher. That's why Isomat does not only take up little space, the mats are also easy to reshape and process. You can use the following variants of Isomat:
Isomat KE: Hard rubber and bitumen based ground plate. Isomat KE is used for insulating wooden doors, light partition walls and casings. Isomat is used as a core for sandwich constructions between wood or plasterboard. Isomat KE contains jute to enhance glue adhesion and can be used for the same applications as the Isomat TS variant.
