Isomat FM (Floor Mat) is a sound-insulating floor mat with a wear-resistant anti-slip top layer for use as floor and bottom plate insulation in vehicles and vessels. The added value of Isomat FM is that it can also function as interior trim in vehicles and vessels.

What it is and does:
Isomat FM is a sound insulation mat that keeps airborne noise and resonance either indoors or outdoors. This product increases the mass of a substrate and places a barrier between the sound source and the receiver. It is an acoustic product with the added value that it can also function as interior cladding.
Applications
Isomat FM is particularly suitable as a sound-insulating floor mat in vehicle cabins. It is ideal for insulating the underbody, wheel arches and the gearbox tunnel in cars, buses and motorhomes. In a van or motorhome it can also serve as a floor covering in the cargo area. Isomat is also often applied as a floor mat on boats and yachts. The flexibility of the material makes it easy to apply to irregularly shaped and curved surfaces.
Isomat FM is usually used in combination with anti-drumming and bitumen damping such as Vibraflex.

The Isomat Floor Mat consists of 3 layers:
- Beautiful, wear-resistant top layer.
- An insulating mass core.
- A layer of acoustically decoupling PVC foam.
- The material can withstand temperatures from -40 °C to approx. 100 °C.
Assembly Tips
Isomat FM is easy to cut to size with a utility knife. For gluing vertical applications, use our contact adhesive.
