Combination plates: Sound absorber and Soundproofing in One Product

Sound insulation and soundproofing combination products
These products combine insulation and soundproofing in one product. Combination products are used mostly used in boats and yachts to absorb engine noise and soundproof engine compartments. These acoustic products, Merfocom and Merfodamp, can also be used to insulate machine enclosures for compressors or pumps. Using combination products saves a lot of time and money, because you don't need to assemble the separate products yourself. The following combinations of soundproofing and insulation are available:

Merfodamp
Merfodamp also offers anti-drumming and sound absorption in one plate. Due to its composition, Merfodamp has a double effect and is therefore particularly efficient. This product is often used to soundproof light weight aluminium and steel machine enclosures.
Merfocom
Merfocom is a sound-absorbing and soundproofing product. This multiple layered panel has a 25 mm Merfocell FC sound absorbing acoustic foam at the front with a sturdy protective top layer of fiber glass fabric. This top layer is heat resistant up to 100 ℃, is moisture, oil and impact resistant. The second layer is a mass loaded vinyl soundproofing core of Isomat TS, 8 kg/m². The third layer is the base of the panel, a 5 mm layer of self-adhesive foam.
