Melamine foam is the basic material of the Flamex range, which consists of about five different sound-absorbing products. Apart from two exceptions, all Flamex variants are suitable for improving acoustics, reducing reverberation in areas such as offices, classrooms, living rooms, sound studios and waiting rooms.

Flamex FC and Flamex PU are not suitable for improving acoustics. These two variants are used in yacht and shipbuilding, in vehicles and in machine and appliance construction, for example in order to reduce engine noise. These Flamex sound absorbers are provided with a top layer, giving them unique properties for various applications. These properties are described on the different product pages.
