How much do I need to improve the acoustics?
Applying acoustic absorbent materials on walls and/or the ceiling equivalent to 50% of the floor area results in an enormous improvement in the acoustics. In practice, however, it often appears that a percentage of 25 to 30% already gives sufficient improvement. Most customers are already satisfied by then. What it is and does:
Flamex Pyramid is an acoustic panel made of sound-absorbing melamine foam. The foam has a pyramid pattern (on top of a base layer). It provides better room acoustics by reducing annoying sound reflections and reverberation. Flamex Pyramid has excellent absorption values in the medium and high frequency range due to the pyramid structure.
Applications
Flamex panels with this design are ideal for use in studios, listening rooms and other audio-visual environments where a certain look & feel is desired. The product has fire class C and can therefore also be used in public areas.

- Colour light grey: approximately RAL7047.
- Colour white: approximately RAL9001.

Article number K0109 and K0108 pyramid tip dimensions: 50x50x25 mm.
A material tolerance of 2% applies to Flamex products.
Assembly Tips
Flamex Facet panels are easy to cut to size with a sharp knife and easy to install with our Stauf adhesive. Spread a few dots of Stauf adhesive from the corners towards the centre and spread some dots in the middle of the panel. With sufficient adhesive, the panel will bond directly to the substrate, no struts or clamps are necessary.
