What it is and does:
Merfowrap Leaded has been developed for the reduction of sound radiation from, for example, rainwater drainage, sewage pipes and down pipe insulation. In addition to a good sound-insulating effect, Merfowrap Leaded also has thermal insulating properties. The material is anti-fog.
Applications
Merfowrap Leaded is a very flexible sheet and is therefore easy to install all types of pipes, ducts and PVC pipes. Thanks to the lead layer, the sheet does not tend to spring back, Merfowrap Leaded is even somewhat malleable. On our tips page you will find the step-by-step plan for pipe and pipe insulation.

Assembly Tips
Place Merfowrap Leaded pipe insulation with the black top layer to the outside. Install the product using Isotape by wrapping every 30 cm. Tape seams and cracks carefully, especially in the curves. You achieve the best result by at least double wrapping the bends with Merfowrap Leaded.

Alternative Merfisol pipe insulation
Merfowrap Leaded is compared to Merfisol easier to process, but Merfisol also insulates thermally because of the aluminum top layer.
