What is the problem? 
Poor room acoustics in your studio will result in a distorted reproduction of music, resulting in poor recordings. This is due to too many hard (reflective) and too few soft (absorbent) surfaces on the walls, ceiling, and floor. But even with (wrong) acoustic adjustments, the room acoustics can still be insufficient. On this page you will find a range of products that you can get started with, possibly with our advice.
What is the solution?
A good basis for improving studio acoustics is to equip each of at least two walls for one third with absorption panels containing a minimum thickness of 25 mm (40 mm is recommended). With this basic approach, the worst reverberation problems will be reduced and the worst flutter echo problems solved.
If there is no carpet or floor covering available, equip the ceiling with absorbent surfaces for at least 50%. Again, in order to achieve a good result, use products with a minimum thickness of 25 mm, preferably 40 mm or thicker.
Now the foundation has been laid, the acoustics are reasonable and can be fine-tuned by means of additional acoustic measures such as placing (extra) absorption panels and bass traps after doing some sound checks. Popular products are: Flamex Facet, Wave and Piramide, Akotherm GG and the Silent Office range.
