Sound absorbing foam
Acousticcell is sound absorption foam provided with a ribbed texture top layer. It is ideal for use in clean and dry environments such as computer or server cabinets, ventilation ducts, ventilation units, electric motors and machine enclosure for sound absorption.

What it is and does:
Acousticcell is sound absorption foam made of polyurethane. The material is provided with a densified, cross-linked top layer. This increases the surface area, so the absorption capacity is higher than sound absorption panels without this top layer. In addition, compared to other materials, thinner types can be used without the acoustic effect being reduced. At frequencies below 1,000 Hz, Tecnocell absorbs 20 to 35% better.
Applications
Acousticcell can be used in computer or server cabinets, air handling units, control cabinets, as a roof liner in vehicles (13 mm variant), in air ducts, etc. Thanks to the top layer, the material also absorbs less dust and dirt. Tecnocell is self-adhesive and therefore easy to attach.

Assembly Tips
Acousticcell is easy to cut to size and shape with a knife or scissors. No special tools are required. It is easy to apply on curved surfaces. The surfaces to be covered must be thoroughly dry and free of dust and grease. After placing, you should press the Acousticcell well to prevent any air bubbles.
Oil and moisture resistant alternatives
If you have an application where there is a chance that the top layer may come into contact with a liquid, it is better to use a product with a PU top layer such as Acousticcell PU, Merfocell PU or Flamex PU.
