Self-adhesive Sound Absorption
Burl foam is a generally applicable absorption material. The foam has a studded structure, which increases the absorption surface. Burl foam is used in studios, dry equipment, motor and machine housings. But this product is also in place in (clean) air ducts. The panels are self-adhesive.

What it is and does:
Burl foam is made of sound-absorbing polyurethane foam. The studded structure ensures that high and medium frequency sound is optimally absorbed. The panels are self-adhesive.
Applications
Burl foam is particularly easy to apply and can be used in many ways. Burl foam is mainly used in rooms where good sound absorption of higher frequencies (above 1000 Hz) must be combined with a decorative appearance. Applications include studios, computer and server housings, loudspeaker housings and in ventilation shafts and air ducts.
convoluted foam is used in combination with noise barrier mats in equipment and machine housings. This considerably increases the insulation value of the casing or housing. Isomat KE or TS for wooden, plastic and polyester substrates and Vibraflex for steel, aluminium and plastic.
Properties
Burl foam is profeded with a strong self-adhesive layer and is easy to process. Burl foam may not be used in public areas such as classroom or pubs. It is better to use a product from the Flamex or Akotherm product range.

Assembly Tips
Burl foam is best cut to size with long strokes of a sharp knife. This makes the cut nice and tight and there is less chance of loose strands of foam. The adhesive is quite strong, so position the burl foam in the desired place in one movement.
