Silendo

What it is and does:
This attractive aluminium door grille is intended as an alternative to a slot under the door at the sill. This is because this is a sound leak that you can better close off by means of a draft band or a Drop Seal. The Door Grille is fitted with an sound absorbing acoustic foam that absorbs high-frequency sound. With the Silendo door grille you can close the door all around and still ensure the supply or exhaust air.

Applications
If you have installed a silent ventilation set, such as the Aeropac SN, it is also necessary to extract air silently. This can be done using the Silendo door grille, possibly in combination with a drop seal, if there is a gap underneath the door, in order to leak as little sound as possible.

The Silendo Acoustic Door Grille can be used in doors with a thickness of 37 to 43 mm. This grille can be mounted in interior doors of, for example, a central heating boiler room, utility room, bedroom, attic room or other rooms in the house and studios where good (and quiet) air flow is desired.

Properties

• Colour: F1 anodised aluminium (grey bulkheads).
• Size: Installation dimensions of 425 x 48 mm.
• Air transit: The throughput (flow rate) is 25.1 m³/hour at a pressure of 2 Pascal.

After fixing the grid is almost invisible. The door grille has a very high sound attenuation (D new value) of no less than 32 dB.
