Anti-drumming plates
What it is and does it do?
With our drumming plates you can 'de-drum'' all kinds of sheet metal. By sticking a drumming plate on a surface such as the body of your car, steel engine housing of a generator or pump housing, you add mass. This increases resistance to resonances and isolates sound.
Ontdreuning removes the gong sound that is heard when closing doors or setting a steel, aluminum or plastic sheet in motion. Unthelled surfaces better keep sound inside or outside a room. This is called sound insulation. With us you can choose from our own brand Vibraflex and the brand STP StandartPlast.
In applications in device and machine housings, drumming is often used in combination with an absorption material. For this application you can also use With a steel thickness above 4 mm, it is better to use a drumming paste such as Vibradamp A-90-P.
