Decoupling Strips

Coupling strips for floors and attachment systems

When placing a floating floor, it is important that this floor cannot touch the walls anywhere, when this does happen vibrations are still transmitted to the construction and speaks of a sound leak. Before placing a floating floor, wall or ceiling, first mount vibration-insulating strips against the existing structure against which the floating floor, wall or ceiling is placed. You can best imagine this as a vibration-insulating plinth of foam or rubber granulate, depending on the desired product.

What products are suitable for this and what are the differences?

There are three products in the range that can be used as a decoupling between floating structures such as a floor.

Regufoam Strips: Made of a high-quality polyurethane foam, suitable for floating walls, floors and decks on yachts.
Agglomer Strips: Made of flake foam (also called polypress), suitable for floating walls, floors and decks on yachts.
Regupol Strips: Made of a rubber granulate, suitable for disconnecting heavy walls and as vibration insulation between façade and sidewalk (can also be used outdoors).
