Our brand name Flamex is also known as Basotect. This acoustic product range consists of about five different products. Two noise insulation types, with specific top layers, and products for the improvement of room acoustics. Flamex Basic, Flamex Edge and Flamex Pyramid are ideal for improving acoustics and reducing reverberation in locations and spaces such as offices, classrooms, living rooms, pubs and clubs.
Melamine foam with a protective top layer
When equipped with a top layer melamine foam becomes suitable for use in all kinds of environments. Flamex FC and Flamex PU are not suitable for improving acoustics. These two variants are used in yacht and shipbuilding, in vehicles and in machine and appliance construction, for example in order to reduce engine noise. These Flamex sound absorbers are provided with a special top layer, giving them unique properties for various applications. These properties are described on the different product pages.
