Piano Acoustic Package

What it is and does
This complete package has products for absorbing (damping) piano sound and isolating vibrations, contact noise. The three acoustic panels in this package reduce the direct radiation of piano sound against the wall behind the piano. These panels absorb the louder piano sounds in your room, which can reduce the nuisance to the neighbors and make the piano sound warmer. 

The four piano dampers (piano coasters) in the package reduce contact noise to surrounding spaces, often the neighbors who experience some nuisance. By reducing resonances, the piano sound can, in some cases, be positively influenced, the piano can then sound a bit fuller and clearer. The dampers are not designed for this.

Where to apply
The piano acoustics package can be used in any room, both for the piano in the living room, which causes a nuisance to the environment, and for the piano in a studio or pop rehearsal room. This set can be used as 'Plan B' if you do not want to or cannot acoustically insulate your entire room with, for example, front walls (which is better for insulating a room, by the way).

Application example
A relatively light surface, such as a stage or a thin, light storey floor, can be set in motion by the resonances of a piano or grand piano. Vibrations pass under the dividing wall and become audible to the neighbours. You can reduce this by placing the piano on the vibration dampers from this set. By applying these piano dampers, an interruption is created between the instrument and the surface, resulting in less contact noise.

Points of attention
Piano Mutes – Coasters:
The dimensions of the legs or wheels of the piano cannot exceed 155 x 155 mm.

Absorption panels:
You do not need any glue for the acoustic panels in this set. You simply slide the panels between the wall and the piano, they remain upright on their own. You can fine-tune the distance between panels and the piano until you hear the sound of your taste.
