Silencers for round air ducts
Inno dampers and silencers are an easy and reasonable cheap product that strongly dampens and reduces noise and air flow from round air ducts in homes, especially new construction with central ventilation equipment. Inno dampers insulate and absorb airborne noise from, for example, a heat recovery unit and air duct valves. The dampers are easy to install without specials tools.

What it is and does:
With Inno dampers you insulate disturbing noise from round air ducts. You can install an Inno dampers in an air duct in one go without installation costs. The Inno damper is made in such a way that it fits firmly in the air duct after pressing gently and does not shift. Noise reduction can be further increased by placing several dampers in succession. The Inno dampers also have a small opening that can be used to measure the pressure difference across the damper. Inno dampers are available in different sizes.
Applications
Inno dampers can be used in applications such as a cross-talk damper and as a damper for the (often) annoying noise from ventilation systems, such as a heat recovery unit, in homes (particularly recently completed new-build homes in which good ventilation is required). Users can make their living environment considerably quieter with a small investment. Inno dampers can also be used in round air ducts in boats to, for example, muffle sound from the engine compartment to the outside. The product deals with the sound as close to the source as possible.
Properties
Inno dampers are made of polyurethane flake foam. The damper has a dust-resistant skin on one side. The material is flame retardant according to EN ISO 11925-2:2002.
What sizes are available
The Inno dampers have a diameter of 100, 125, 160 and 200 mm and are 50 mm thick. Minimum order is 2 pieces per size.
Assembly Tips
By pressing one or more plugs out of the Inno dampers (or putting them back in), the best ratio between sound attenuation and airflow can be determined. The best result is achieved by placing 2 dampers in the air duct with a space of +/- 10 cm with all plugs removed, one behind the other.
