Vibration isolation: dampening vibrations by disconnecting
 By using vibration dampers, decoupling plates or decoupling strips, you ensure that vibrations that can cause resonances (audible as contact noise) are not transmitted to a structure. This principle is also called acoustic decoupling. Various noise problems can be solved by disconnecting a source such as a washing machine, appliances and machines, pool pump but also constructions such as walls, floors and ceilings can be disconnected.
