Isomat FM

What it is and does:
Isomat FM is a sound insulation car mat that helps to keep airborne noise and resonance either in- or outside your vehicle. This product covers the floor or boot in a vehicle and thereby insulate or soundproof against driving noise from the wheel arches and/or exhaust noise through the bottom plate of the boot. You can use Isomat FM car mat as a single producten, or even better, in combination with a sound deadener like Vibraflex Extreme. Isomat FM is an acoustic interior upholstery product with the added value that it can also function insulation of noise. 

Applications
Isomat FM is particularly suitable as a sound-insulating floor mat in vehicle cabins. It's ideal for insulating the wheel arches, gearbox tunnel and boot in cars, buses and campervans. In a van or motorhome Isomat Floor Mat can also serve as a floor covering in the cargo area. Isomat is also often applied as a floor mat on boats and yachts.

The flexibility of the material makes it easy to apply to irregularly shaped and curved surfaces. Isomat FM is usually used in combination with bitumen anti-drumming damping, such as Vibraflex Extreme. More solutions to insulate your car or any other vehicle on our Vehicle Page.

The Isomat Floor Mat consists of 3 layers:

• Beautiful, wear-resistant top layer.
• Soundproofing mass core.
• Layer of acoustically decoupling PVC foam.

• Temperatures from -40°C to approx. 100°C.

Assembly Tips
Isomat FM is easy to cut to size with a utility knife. For gluing vertical applications, use our contact adhesive.
