Piano Acoustic Package

What it is and does
This complete package has products for absorbing (damping) piano sound and isolating vibrations, impact noise to the floor. The three acoustic panels in this package reduce the direct radiation of piano sound against the wall behind the piano. These panels absorb the louder piano sounds in your room, which can reduce the nuisance to the neighbours and make the piano sound warmer. 

The four piano dampers (piano coasters) in the package reduce impact noise and vibrations to surrounding spaces, often the neighbours who experience some nuisance. By reducing resonances with these piano coasters, the sound of the piano can be positively influenced, the piano can then sound a bit fuller and clearer. These dampers are not designed for this but can have this positive influence.

Where to apply
The piano acoustics package can be used in any room, both for the piano in the living room, which causes a nuisance to the environment, and for the piano in a studio or rehearsal room. This set can be used as 'Plan B' if you do not want to or cannot acoustically soundproof your entire room. Soundproofing a dedicated piano room is still the best option to solve any sound related problem with neighbours. Soundproofing the party wall will give you more freedom to play when you want. Application example
A relatively light surface, such as a stage or a thin, light floor, can be set in motion by the resonances of a piano or grand piano. Vibrations passes underneath the party wall and become audible to the neighbours. You can reduce this by placing the piano on the vibration dampers from this set. By applying these piano dampers, an interruption is created between the instrument and the floor, resulting in less impact noise.

Points of attention
Piano Coasters:
The dimensions of the legs or wheels of the piano cannot exceed 155 x 155 mm.

Absorption panels:
You don't need glue for the acoustic panels in this set. You simply slide the panels between the wall and the piano, they remain upright on their own. You can fine-tune the distance between panels and the piano until you hear the sound of your taste.
